The nation has consistently attracted over $50 million annually since 2019, exceeding $100 million in four of the last six years.

The growth of fintech transactions in Ghana is notable, with a 33.4% increase reported in the first quarter of 2024, amounting to GH₵576.03 billion as indicated by the Bank of Ghana. Furthermore, by the end of 2024, Ghana registered 73 million mobile money accounts reflecting the rising engagement in digital financial services across the country.

Ghana has emerged as a significant fintech hub within Africa, spearheaded by innovative startups such as Fido, Oze, SecondSTAX, Affinity Africa, and Zeepay, which are making strides in payments and lending. Moreover, mobile money services offered by MTN (MoMo), Vodafone (Vodafone Cash), and AT Ghana (ATMoney) are instrumental in advancing financial inclusion and enhancing digital transaction capabilities in the region.
