This announcement was made by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, during a meeting with the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Yu Dunhai. The Ambassador also noted President Xi’s pledge of $50 billion for investment in Africa over the next three years, in line with multiple MoUs agreed upon during FOCAC.
