During this visit, a significant number of agreements focused on cooperation in capacity building, trade, and combatting cross-border financial crimes are set to be signed, and Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to be the chief guest at the national day celebrations of Mauritius.

This included a special performance known as Geet Gawai, a traditional Bihari musical ensemble reflecting the cultural heritage that the Bhojpuri women brought to Mauritius, recognized for its cultural significance by UNESCO in December 2016.

Throughout the visit, PM Modi will inaugurate over 20 India-funded projects, enhancing areas such as community-linked infrastructure and capacity building. Notable projects include the Civil Services College, completed at a cost of approximately $4.75 million, and the Area Health Centre as well as 20 community initiatives that together cost around ₹7 crores, promoting democracy and wellness in the region.
