Connected Minerals Partners with Hammerstein Drilling for New Projects

Connected Minerals has engaged Hammerstein Drilling to initiate a maiden drilling program at Etango North-East and Swakopmund projects in Namibia, commencing in April. The program includes 33 holes, focusing first on Etango North-East before moving to Swakopmund. CEO Warrick Clent views this as a significant milestone for the company.

Connected Minerals (ASX:CML) has engaged Namibian drilling contractor Hammerstein Drilling for a maiden reverse circulation reconnaissance drilling program at the Etango North-East and Swakopmund projects in Namibia. This program is set to commence in April and will include 33 holes totaling 2,500 meters, with 2,000 meters designated for Etango North-East and 450 meters for Swakopmund.

The initial drilling effort will target Etango North-East, where high-priority areas were identified following a rock chip sampling project completed in December 2024. Following this phase, the drilling team will shift its focus to Swakopmund, targeting areas revealed by a recent horizontal-loop electromagnetic survey.

CEO Warrick Clent emphasized that the collaboration with Hammerstein Drilling marks an essential advancement for Connected Minerals, highlighting the significance of the upcoming drilling operations. Clent stated, “The commencement of drilling will be a major milestone for Connected Minerals and will build on the encouraging targets we have identified at both projects during our field work to date.”

He further indicated, “We look forward to beginning drilling in April, just four months after the relisting of Connected Minerals, and anticipate strong news flow in the months ahead.” Hammerstein Drilling, located in Swakopmund, is a proficient contractor with a history of managing reverse circulation drilling programs for mining explorers in Namibia, Angola, and beyond.

Connected Minerals is an Australian mineral explorer concentrating on uranium and its projects in Namibia and Western Australia.

In summary, Connected Minerals has appointed Hammerstein Drilling to conduct its inaugural drilling program at significant sites in Namibia, with a schedule to commence in April. The program will address high-priority targets identified within the Etango North-East and Swakopmund projects, reinforcing the company’s commitment to its exploration efforts. The engagement is expected to lead to notable developments and information flow in subsequent months.
