The applications cover a substantial area of 7,322 square kilometres and concentrate on five distinct mineralisation types: Besshi (volcanogenic massive sulfide deposits – primarily Copper), Greenstone (Copper-Nickel), MVT (Mississippi Valley-type deposits – Lead and Zinc), Sedex (sedimentary exhalative deposits – Lead, Zinc, and Silver), and Ultramafic (Platinum Group Metals).
Chairman John Teeling stated, “Our comprehensive, country-wide AI driven exploration programme in Botswana initially focused on diamonds.
