Welcoming Ceremony Celebrates Uzbekistan’s President in Paris

An official welcoming ceremony for President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan occurred in Paris, hosted by President Emmanuel Macron. An honorary guard paid tribute, and national anthems were performed. The visit aims to foster stronger bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and France.

On March 12, an official welcoming ceremony took place at the House of Honor in Paris for Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Uzbekistan, who is on a state visit to France. President Emmanuel Macron extended a formal welcome to the Uzbek leader.

An honorary guard, comprising personnel from the French Republican Guard, land forces, navy, and air force, was assembled to honor the visiting dignitary. The military orchestra performed the national anthems of both nations as the guardsmen paraded solemnly before President Mirziyoyev.

Following the ceremony, the two presidents proceeded past the honorary guard to greet members of their official delegations. Subsequently, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, accompanied by cavalry guards and motorcyclists, made his way to the Elysee Palace for high-level discussions with President Macron.

The significant ceremony in Paris marked the warm diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and France, highlighting President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s state visit.
