Furthermore, exports reached 8,855 tonnes, showing a remarkable year-on-year increase of 64% from 5,384 tonnes recorded in February 2024.
Domestic cement consumption in February 2025 was recorded at 0.73 Mt, reflecting an 8% rise compared to 0.68 Mt in February 2024. Notably, cement imports have seen a substantial decline, totaling only 212 tonnes, down 76% from the 919 tonnes imported in February 2024. This decline in imports further highlights the growth in domestic production capacity.
