Sequence Records, a new electronic music label located in Rabat, Morocco, has officially launched, focusing on promoting local talent. The label is established by the team behind the events collective Sqnc, which has been instrumental in featuring prominent artists such as Rhadoo, Raresh, tINI, and Vlada since its inception in 2018. Recently, Sqnc collaborated with other Moroccan collectives to form the umbrella organization ECHO7000.
The inaugural release from Sequence Records is a split EP titled “Cyber Alien Communication,” featuring contributions from Tunisian artist HearThuG and label founder Adam Dirk’heim, who also performs as Cybercafé. This collaboration, which commenced in 2022, is set for release on March 28, 2025, and will be distributed by KMA60.
