4th Bangladesh Remittance Fair 2025 Scheduled for April 19-20 in New York

The ‘4th Bangladesh Remittance Fair 2025’ will take place in New York on April 19-20, organized by BUCCI and USA-Bangladesh Business Links. The fair aims to promote remittances from the USA to Bangladesh and will feature various activities, including presentations and networking opportunities. The ‘4th Bangladesh Remittance Fair 2025’ is scheduled for April 19-20 in New York, aiming to boost remittance flows from the USA to Bangladesh. This two-day event will be organized jointly by the Bangladesh-USA Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BUCCI) and USA-Bangladesh Business Links, held at Jackson Heights.

Major media partners including ‘Daily Bonik Barta’, ‘Business Standard’, and weekly ‘Thikana’ will offer special supplements for the fair, while Ekattor TV and TBN24 will cover the event with dedicated programming. The fair’s theme, “Legal Remittance, Better Bangladesh,” highlights the significance of compliant remittance processes in bolstering the country’s economic status and foreign reserves.

Dr. Ahsan H Mansur, Governor of Bangladesh Bank, is expected to attend as the chief guest for the inauguration. The fair will focus on connecting public and private sector stakeholders including banks, money exchange houses, mobile financial service providers, and app developers to present their services, share knowledge, and improve remittance efficiency.

Attendees will participate in various activities such as demonstrations, presentations, discussions, and a Networking Dinner. Notable representatives from the New York State Department of Financial Services and various money exchange companies will be present, enabling valuable networking opportunities and the exploration of industry trends.

Past participants included Dhaka Bank PLC, Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, and Uttara Bank PLC. In 2024, Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, National Bank Limited, and Bank Asia PLC received the Top Remittance Bank Receiver Award. BA Express, Sunman Global Express, and Standard Express earned the Top Remittance Channel Partner Award, while 10 individual remitters were acknowledged with the Top Individual Remittance Award.
