The Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Ms. Emma Theofelus, announced that Namibia will welcome 10 heads of state, three vice presidents, and two prime ministers at the inauguration ceremony of Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, the nation’s first female president. This significant event will coincide with Namibia’s 35th Independence Day celebrations.
During a press briefing, Minister Theofelus indicated that specific countries were not disclosed, but the government remains open to additional confirmations from other nations interested in attending the festivities or sending delegations. “I also would like to communicate that because the list has not been exhausted, we continue to receive confirmations and there might be alterations to the list,” she noted.
