On January 21-22, Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Minh Tam hosted a reception in Vientiane for over 20 delegations from Lao ministries and organizations. They gathered to congratulate the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) on its 95th anniversary and to celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year. Ambassador Tam highlighted the CPV’s achievements over the past 95 years, attributing their success to the enduring support from Laos, especially during Vietnam’s periods of struggle and development.
