Additionally, President Marcos discussed strengthening partnerships with Cambodia, recognizing the strong foundation already in place.
He welcomed Ambassador Sin Saream, who committed to enhancing cooperation for the mutual benefit of both nations. Diplomatic relations with Cambodia were formalized on August 20, 1957, and about 7,500 Filipinos currently reside there.
